Refrain First Line: We can do it if we try, you and I Lyrics: 1 O to set the world rejoicing ev’ry day! O to scatter brightest roses in the way! O to bring to all the year the smiles of May! We can do it, we can do it, if we try. Refrain: We can do it if we try, you and I, When upon the gracious Savior we rely; Help to set the world rejoicing, help to clear a darken’d sky, Help to bring the blessed sunshine from on high. 2 O to pluck from thorny paths a weed or two, By some little friendly deed that we may do! O to print above the clouds to heaven’s blue! We can do it, we can do it, if we try. [Refrain] 3 O to give a kindly word, a look of cheer! O to whisper of the loving Friend so near! O to bring Love’s everlasting kingdom here! We can do it, we can do it, if we try. [Refrain] Tune Title: [O to set the world rejoicing every day]
