1927 - 2011 Person Name: Richard D. Baker Composer of "GO YE FORTH" in Himnario Bautista Baker, Richard Dee. (Farmersville, Texas, May 12, 1927--September 5, 2011). Educated at Baylor University and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Minister of music, Birchman Avenue Baptist Church, Fort Worth, Texas (1950-1956), then a music evangelist for eighteen years. In 1975, he was vice-president of Crescendo Publications, Dallas, Texas, and music coordinator of the World Evangelism Foundation. Di­az Pablo Fi­lós Robleto at­tend­ed the Co­le­gio Bau­tis­ta in Ma­na­gua (grad­u­at­ed 1940), and the Bap­tist Sem­in­a­ry in New Or­leans, Lou­i­si­a­na, and pas­tored church­es in Ni­ca­ra­gua, Cos­ta Ri­ca and Tex­as. He al­so di­rect­ed the De­part­ment of Ad­min­is­tra­tion of Church­es and Pas­tor­al Lead­er­ship, ed­it­ed The Chris­tian Home for the Casa Bau­tis­ta de Pub­li­ca­ci­on­es, and trans­lat­ed about 200 hymns from Eng­lish to Span­ish.
