No Longer I’ll Wait, O My Saviou

Author: Mrs. S. K. Bourne Hymnal: Gloria Deo #296 (1901) Meter: Irregular First Line: No longer I'll wait, O my Saviour! Lyrics: 1 No longer I’ll wait, O my Saviour! I’ll come at Thy bidding today! For over my spirit there comes like a flood, The thought of the Saviour who shed His own blood To save a poor sinner like me. 2 No longer I’ll wait, O my Saviour! I’ll come at Thy bidding today! My heart, once so stony, is melted to tears To think how my Lord has been waiting for years, To save a poor sinner like me. 3 Forgive and receive me, my Saviour! Accept my surrender today! I bless and adore Thee, O wonderful Love That sought me, and call’d me, and stoop’d from above To save a poor sinner like me. Topics: Decision Languages: English Tune Title: TOWER
