Chorus: When we hear his voice divine, Where his footsteps brightly shine, We will follow, follow, follow all the way; We will follow while he pleadeth, Where his wisdom leadeth; We’ll follow in the blessed steps of Jesus. 2 We will tell his peace to the troubled breast, Gently speak to the weary and sad, Lead the burdened soul to the Lord for rest; Till in him ev’ry lonely heart is glad. [Chorus] 3 When this life is past and our race is run, If we live for the Savior alone, We will hear with joy Jesus say “Well done,” When we gather before his glorious throne.
