O seek Him, children, hasten now and heed the gentle call of grace, Give to Him in consecration, heart and mind. Refrain: In early youth, remember thy Creator, In thy youth, seek heav’nly things to know, The Shepherd seeks the Lambs in loving kindness, In thy youth unto the Shepherd go. 2 O, tell you troubles to the Lord, for He will every burden share; He for sadness, giveth gladness; ‘tis His way; O, tell Him every little grief, for He doth feel for all thy care, Gently caring, burdens sharing, day by day. [Refrain] 3 He giveth many precious gifts to those who heed His loving call; Priceless treasure, bounteous measure, full and free. Of life, love, mercy, hope and peace He hath abundant share for all, He is faithful, prove His promise, come and see. [Refrain] Languages: English Tune Title: [O come in childhood's sunny hour]
