Meet Me There

Author: Katharine S. Wadsworth Hymnal: Sacred Praise #61 (1912) First Line: I'm thinking of the mansions not made with hands Lyrics: 1 I’m thinking of the mansions not made with hands, Of the mansions just beyond the sea; Where sorrow never comes, and where tears never fall, And those mansions are for you and me. Refrain: Meet me there, meet me there, Where there is no night, meet me there, In the land where love wipes away all tears, Meet me there, meet me there. 2 The song of faith and hope, singing in my soul, Gives me joy that like a river flows; And the peace that passeth knowledge He gives unto me, For the burdens of my heart He knows. [Refrain] 3 The way we’re called to go may not always lead Where the flowers glow so fair and sweet, But the happy day will come if we’re faithful and true, When our feet shall walk the golden street. [Refrain] Tune Title: [I’m thinking of the mansions not made with hands]
