1853 - 1901 Person Name: M. W. K. Author of "Bound for Heaven" in Bible Songs Born: March 27, 1853, Albion, Michigan.
Died: December 7, 1901, Cincinnati, Ohio, of typhoid fever.
Buried: Spring Grove Cemetery, Cincinnati, Ohio.
At age 17, Knapp began studies at a Methodist college in Albion, Michigan. He worked on the family farm in the summer, studying Greek and Latin at night, and attending classes in Albion in the winter. In 1877, the Methodist Michigan Conference assigned him a circuit. He went on to a career in ministry, founding the magazine God’s Revivalist in 1888; the International Holiness Union and Prayer League in 1897; and God’s Bible School (later known as God’s Bible School and College) in Cincinnati, Ohio, in 1900. His works include:

Person Name: Anon. Composer of "[I'm a pilgrim bound for heaven]" in Jewel Songs In some hymnals, the editors noted that a hymn's author is unknown to them, and so this artificial "person" entry is used to reflect that fact. Obviously, the hymns attributed to "Author Unknown" "Unknown" or "Anonymous" could have been written by many people over a span of many centuries.

1873 - 1935 Person Name: A. F. I. Arranger of "[I’m a soldier bound for glory]" in The Joy Bells of Canaan or Burning Bush Songs No. 2 Born: May 12, 1873, Montandon, Pennsylvania.
Died: August 8, 1935, Abington, Connecticut.
Buried: North Swansea, Rhode Island.
The 1900 census shows Ingler as a "vocalist" living in Denver, Colorado. The 1920 census shows him as a Nazarene preacher in Tillamook, Oregon. After the death of his wife Amalia, he moved east and married Lura Horton, who at the time was pastor of the People’s Church of the Nazarene in Providence, Rhode Island. The two of them served joint pastorates in Fitchburg, Massachusetts; Jackman, Maine; North Attleboro, Massachusetts; New Haven, Connecticut; and, in 1931, at Emmanuel Church, Pawtucket, Rhode Island. His works include:
