I Love Him

Author: C. A. M. Hymnal: Songs of Christian Service #107 (1903) First Line: I love him because I know him Refrain First Line: I love him, my Redeemer Lyrics: 1 I love him because I know him, I feel him ever standing at my side; When tempted, he’s always with me, He still will love, whate’er betide. Refrain: I love him, my Redeemer, He is so loving, so tender and so true; I love him, O yes, I love him, And, best of all, he loves me, too. 2 I love him because I trust him, Thro’ days of joy or moments filled with grief; When prostrate I fall before him, His Word alone can give relief. [Refrain] 3 I love him because he suffered And hung upon the cross of Calvary, And, dying, he sealed my pardon With his own blood upon the tree. [Refrain] 4 I’ll love him till, crossing Jordan, My feet shall stand upon the golden shore, And then, in my home eternal, I’ll love and praise him evermore. [Refrain] Tune Title: [I love him because I know him]
