Depth of Mercy

Author: Rev. Chas. Wesley Hymnal: Songs of Free Grace #96 (1883) First Line: Depth of mercy, can there be Refrain First Line: God is love, I do believe Lyrics: 1 Depth of mercy, can there be Mercy still reserved for me? Can my God his wrath forbear? Me, the chief of sinners, spare? Chorus: God is love, I do believe; He is waiting to forgive, He is waiting, waiting to forgive. God is love, I do believe; He is waiting to forgive, He is waiting, waiting to forgive. 2 I have long withstood his grace, Long provoked him to his face; Would not hearken to his calls, Grieved him by a thousand falls. [Chorus] 3 Now incline me to repent, Let me now my sins lament; Now my foul revolt deplore, Weep, believer, and sin no more. [Chorus] Scripture: Psalm 51:17 Languages: English Tune Title: [Depth of mercy, can there be]
