Show us your mercy, O Lord

Hymnal: Lead Me, Guide Me (2nd ed.) #6 (2012) Lyrics: Presiding Minister: God is a good God, Lord of heaven and earth. Let us humbly bring our cares before God's throne... Let us pray to the Lord. All: O Lord, hear our prayer. 1 Presiding Minister: Show us your mercy, O Lord; and grant us your salvation. Let us pray to the Lord. All: O Lord, hear our prayer. 2 Presiding Minister: Clothe your ministers with righteousness; let your people sing for joy. Let us pray to the Lord. All: O Lord, hear our prayer. 3 Presiding Minister: Give peace, O Lord, in all the world; for only in you can we live in safety. Let us pray to the Lord. All: O Lord, hear our prayer. 4 Presiding Minister: Lord, keep this nation under your care; and guide us in the way of justice and truth. Let us pray to the Lord. All: O Lord, hear our prayer. 5 Presiding Minister: Let your way be known upon earth; your saving health among all nations. Let us pray to the Lord. All: O Lord, hear our prayer. 6 Presiding Minister: Let not the needy, O Lord, be forgotten; nor the hope of the poor be taken away. Let us pray to the Lord.
