1903 - 2003 Author of "Rejoice, All Peoples of the Earth" in Fifteen New Bible Hymns Ziegler, Edward Krusen. Held many pastorates as well as posts in the Church of the Brethren; missionary in India, 1931-1939; Director of Evangelism, 1951-1955; Moderator, 1959-1960. --The Hymn Society, DNAH Archives ========================= Edward Krusen Ziegler is pastor of the Church of the Brethren in Oakton, Virginia. This is the sixth pastorate which he has held in his denomination. In addition to his service in the pastorate, he has held important and varied posts in the Church of the Brethren: Missionary in India 1931-1939; Director of Evangelism 1951-1955; Moderator 1959-1960. He is the author of several books and the 250th Anniversary Hymn of his denomination. He is also the author of one of the Hymn Society's Stewardship Hymns. He is editor of Brethren Life and Thought. On December 1, 1966, Mr. Ziegler will become pastor of the Church of the Brethren in Bakersfield, California. --Fifteen New Bible Hymns, 1961. Used by permission.
