Person Name: S. J. M. Author of "I Don't Want to Get Adjusted (To this World)" in Church Hymnal Sanford Jesse Massengale went to Stamps Music School when it was in Dallas, Texas. In 1929 he graduated. He wrote a total of 1800 church songs. Massengale died in 1992 & is buried in Wetumka, Oklahoma.
