Katharyn Bacon

1884 - 1944 Author of "The Light that Will Never Fail" Katharyn Bacon was born in 1884 and lived in the hills of Tennessee. She liked books, flowers, garden and being close to nature. She was most likely married to George W. Bacon since a lot of her hymns appear in hymnals he edited. Dianne Shapiro, from "The Singers and Their Songs: sketches of living gospel hymn writers" by Charles Hutchinson Gabriel (Chicago: The Rodeheaver Company, 1916)
