In the Blood

Author: C. A. M. Hymnal: New Songs of the Gospel #66 (1900) First Line: For my sins is pardon found Refrain First Line: In the blood of the Lamb Lyrics: 1 For my sins is pardon found, In the blood; There is balm for ev’ry wound In the blood; Sinful souls, by grief oppressed, Come to Christ and be at rest, Thro’ the blood, thro’ the cleaning blood. Refrain: In the blood of the Lamb There is pardon full and free, There is hope for you and me; In the blood of the Lamb Who was slain on Calvary. 2 Here we learn that God is love, Thor’ the blood; Sending mercy from above, Thro’ the blood; Taking all our gloom away, Turning night to brightest day, Thro’ the blood, thro’ the precious blood. [Refrain] 3 There is hope for all mankind, In the blood; There is sight for sinful blind, In the blood, For the hearts in deep despair There is sweetest solace there, In the blood, in the healing blood. [Refrain] Languages: English Tune Title: [For my sins is pardon found]
