Hudson Hymnal: Gospel Jewels #37 (1890) First Line: Come, weary sinner, to the Cross Refrain First Line: Jesus now is passing by, passing by, passing by Lyrics: 1 Come, weary sinner, to the Cross; The Saviour bids you come; Come, trusting in his precious blood; Wait not—there still is room. Refrain: Jesus now is passing by, passing by, passing by, Jesus now is passing by, I’ll go out to meet him. While he is so very nigh, very nigh, very nigh, While he is so very nigh, I’ll go out and greet him. 2 Oh! why delay your long return? The Spirit gently pleads; Come to the Cross where on for you The dying Saviour bleeds.
