1910 - 2001 Person Name: Hendrik Arie de Hoog, 20th cent. Translator of "Granda Di', ni laŭdas Vin" in TTT-Himnaro Cigneta H. A. de Hoog (authorities differ as to whether his surname should be alphabetized under d or under H) was a Dutch Esperantist and a member of the Esperanto Academy, head of its grammar section beginning in 1972, president of KELI (the main international association of Protestant Esperantists) and of its Dutch section, author of several books in Esperanto, and a member of the editorial committee that produced Adoru kantante (1971), in which he had fifteen hymn translations; thirteen texts in Adoru (2001).

She contributes to various periodicals, has written many services of song, and several vols. of prose and verse. At the request of the Rev. C. Bonner she contributed the following (with a few shorter pieces) to the Christian Endeavour Hymnal, 1896, the Sumday School Hymnary, 1905, and the Junior Hymnal, 1906. 1.
