South India, 1906; d. 1957), was born in South India, the son of a Wesleyan Methodist missionary. Educated at Kingswood School and Cambridge in England, he worked in education in the Hyderabad district of India from 1931-1944. He became principal of Andhra Union Theological College in 1946. University of Toronto, B.A., 1939. Pastorates at Magnetawan (1942-1945), North Bay (1945-1951), and Oshawa (1951-1957), all in Ontario; Medicine Hat, Alberta, 1957-1958. In 1959, he became executive secretary of Caledon Contemporaries, which he combined (1958-1969) with the secretaryship of Lay Studies for the Presbyterian Church in Canada; then, after 1972, with a pastorate at Bathurst St. United Church, Toronto.
