Tune: [Where the shadows of sin are falling]
Published in 1 hymnal

Audio files: MIDI

Representative Text

1 Where the shadows of sin are falling,
Let the sunlight of God shine in;
Where the darkness seems most appalling,
Let the sunlight of God shine in.

Refrain:
Let the sunlight of God shine in,
Take the gospel to those in sin;
Let your light brightly shine,
Shedding sunbeams divine,
Let the sunlight of God shine in.

2 In the hearts that are full of sadness,
Let the sunlight of God shine in;
Fill the sorrowing heart with gladness,
Let the sunlight of God shine in. [Refrain]

3 Where the lone and oppressed are dwelling,
Let the sunlight of God shine in;
To them news of salvation telling,
Let the sunlight of God shine in. [Refrain]

4 Till our days here on earth are ending,
Let the sunlight of God shine in;
Till the angels your voice is blending,
Let the sunlight of God shine in. [Refrain]
