Welcome to Our Number

Representative Text

1 Welcome to our number,
Happy welcome, friends!
True and kindly greeting
Ev'ry heart extends.
Come, our hands to strengthen,
Come, our ranks to swell,
Living now for Jesus,
Come, his love to tell.

Chorus:
Welcome, welcome, happy, happy welcome!
True and kindly greeting
Ev'ry heart extends;
One in Christ our Saviour,
May his tender favor
Rest upon us sweetly
While our song ascends.

2 Welcome, for we need you,
Need your words to cheer;
Jesus needs your service,
And your love sincere.
We can help each other,
Marching side by side,
Ever drawing nearer
To our blessed Guide. [Chorus]

3 In the strength of Jesus
You our pledge will take,
Making each endeavor
For his precious sake;
As our Elder Brother
He will ever stand,
Crown our humble efforts,
Bless his trusting band. [Chorus]
