1 Walking in the sunlight on I go each day,
Trav’ling to a land beyond compare;
Singing of God’s mercies all along the way,
Walking in the sunlight bright and fair.

Fearing naught, I journey on the way;
In my weakness clinging to my trusty Guide,

Jesus’ presence scatters darkest shades of night,
