Representative Text

1 Praise to God our Father, let us all rejoice;
Raise the song of gladness, lift the heart and voice,
Let the work he gives us be our daily choice,
Praise the Lord, praise the Lord, O praise the Lord!

Refrain:
Praise him, all ye people, and his name extol,
Like the ocean billows let our anthems roll,
Praise the Lord, praise the Lord, O praise the Lord.

2 Praise to God our Father for his goodness here.
For his smiles of mercy, faith and hope and cheer,
Come with true devotion, joyful and sincere,
Praise the Lord, praise the Lord, O praise the Lord! [Refrain]

3 Praise to God our Father for the gospel word,
For the invitation we have often heard,
For the peace unmeasured by his grace conferred,
Praise the Lord, praise the Lord, O praise the Lord! [Refrain]

4 Praise to God our Father for redeeming love,
Bringing down our Saviour from his throne above,
For the Holy Spirit, blessed Holy Dove,
Praise the Lord, praise the Lord, O praise the Lord! [Refrain]
