Have slighted Thee, betrayed and
Denied Thee o’er and o’er;
Yet in Thy mercy wide and deep
Thou hast not turned away,
For lo! I find Thee waiting
Outside my door today.

For O I need, I need Thee,
Whom once I crucified.

2 I see Thee yonder on the cross,
And hear Thy prayer for me—
