Representative Text

1 Mansions in the Fatherland,
Built by God’s almighty hand;
Happy hosts their beauty see,
Is there not a place for me?

Is there not a place for me?
Is there not a place for me?
Happy hosts their beauty see,
Is there not a place for me?

2 Crowns of glory, crowns of light,
Brighter than the stars of night;
Fadeless thro’ eternity!
Is there not a crown for me?

Is there not a crown for me?
Is there not a crown for me?
Fadeless thro’ eternity!
Is there not a crown for me?

3 Garments whiter than the snow,
Christ, the King hath made them so;
Still He calls in tones so free;
Is there not a robe for me?

Is there not a robe for me?
Is there not a robe for me?
Still He calls in tones so free;
Is there not a robe for me?

4 Golden harps in praise resound,
Songs to Jesus there resound,
Making ceaseless melody;
Is there not a harp for me?

Is there not a harp for me?
Is there not a harp for me?
Making ceaseless melody,
Is there not a harp for me?
