Representative Text

1 He is risen, day of wonder,
Day when death itself was slain!
Like a grandly swelling thunder
Sounds the word “He lives again.”

Refrain:
Hallelujah! hallelujah!
Praises to the Lamb we sing;
Hallelujah! hallelujah!
Hail to our victorious King.

2 See His royal banner waving
On the blood-stained fields of strife!
There, for humblest hearts that love Him,
Jesus bo’t eternal life. [Refrain]

3 Blessed Jesus, living Saviour,
Thou art risen from the grave;
We are trusting in Thy favor;
Thou art mighty now to save. [Refrain]
