Representative Text

1 Ev’ry morning on its wings
Its allotted portion brings,
Calm and peaceful I may be,
Lord, I’ll cast my care on Thee.

Refrain:
All my care, all my care,
Savior, ev’ry trial share;
All my care, all my care,
Till I reach the mansions fair.

2 Thro’ life’s ever-changeful scene,
With me, gracious and serene,
Christ, the Burden-Bearer, see!
Lord, I’ll cast my care on Thee. [Refrain]

3 Faith the blessed promise reads,
Underlying all my needs;
As my day, my strength shall be;
Lord, I’ll cast my care on Thee. [Refrain]

4 Singing praises all the way,
Love will cheer the darkest day;
Till the cloudless land I see,
Lord, I’ll cast my care on Thee. [Refrain]
