Representative Text

1 A wondrous song is in the air,
Making every listener glad;
Christmas joy is everywhere,
Let no heart be sad.

Refrain:
Joy is everywhere,
Joy that all may share;
Heaven’s morning,
Earth adorning,
Fills the eastern sky.
Songs of joy and love
Fill the realms above;
Praise is ringing,
All are singing,
Praise to God on high.

2 A wondrous star is in the sky,
Heralding a dawning day;
Christmas hope brings Heaven nigh,
So the angels say. [Refrain]

3 A wondrous host the shepherds see,
Host celestial, come to earth;
Christmas love, a magic key,
Brings a Savior’s birth. [Refrain]
