Based on Micah 6:6-8, Ruth Elaine Schram's inspired treatment of this text is set in a minor mode, enhancing the essence of the lyric. A creative inclusion of a portion of the familiar Isaac Watts text "Love so amazing, so divine, my life, my all" is a fitting culmination and response to the opening question of the anthem.
