Edith Sanford Tillotson

1876 - 1968 Author of "Pure White Ribbons" in Awakening Songs for the Church, Sunday School and Evangelistic Services Edith Sanford Tillotson was born and lived her entire life in Corona, New York. She wrote hymns for children as well as poems and librettos. 1880 - 1955 Composer of "[Have you seen our badges new]" in Awakening Songs for the Church, Sunday School and Evangelistic Services Homer Rodeheaver (1880-1955) was a world renowned evangelist and the music director of Billy Sunday's Evangelistic Campaigns. He was born in Union Furnace, OH. In the Spanish American War he served as trombonist. In 1918 he worked in France with the YMCA, He was President of Rodeheaver, Hall-Mack Co. and founder of Rodeheaver Boys' Ranch in Palatka, FL. see Osborne p.328 Mary Louise VanDyke
