1848 - 1916 Person Name: E. E. Rexford Author of "God shall wipe all tears away" in Light and Life Rexford, Eben Eugene.M (Johnsburg, New York, July 16, 1848--October 16, 1916, Shiocton, Wisconsin). Horticulturalist and editor of a Wisconsin farm journal. Many of his verses were used to fill empty corners of the journal. He also wrote many books on gardening. Lawrence University (Appleton, Wisc.), Litt.D. Twenty-five years, organist at First Congregational Church, Shiocton.

1862 - 1941 Person Name: Daniel E. Lorenz Composer of "[God's word is full of promises]" in Light and Life Lorenz, Daniel Edward. (Canal Fulton, Ohio, 1862--February 27, 1941, New York City). Younger brother of Edmund Simon Lorenz. He was a Presbyterian minister in New York City. He took many tours abroad and wrote several travel books.
