Illinois Wesleyan University, B.S. 1924; Yale Divinity School, M.A. 1926; Director of Religious Eduction., Bloomington, Ill., 1928-1936; National Director of Children's Work, United Christian Missionary Society, Indianapolis, 1936-1948. Married C.C. McCaw in 1948, widowed, 1978. Author of fourteen books for children and many children's songs.
