Rogers, Rev. George. (1805--July 6, 1846, Cincinnati, Ohio). A Universalist minister, author and editor. He published a Universalist Hymn Book in 1845, in which he included 26 hymns which he had written. Four of his hymns are included in Church Harmonies: New and Old, 1895:

2. Let songs of praise arise
3. Religion! in thy blessed ray
4. There is a Sabbath rest, O Lord
