Pearce, Selina P. (Lowell, Ohio, December 29, 1845--?). Baptist. Daughter of a Baptist minister. High school principal. "Be our joyful song to-day" is found in Sankey, McGranahan, and Stebbins' Gospel Hymns, where it is attributed to "L. Pierce."
