Holling, Theophilus Ernest. (Deepcar, England, February 24, 1867--July 7, 1953, Victoria, British Columbia). Methodist/United Church. University of Manitoba, B.A., 1899 (ordination in 1894). Pastorates at Pilot Mound, Man., 1894-1896; Wolseley, Northwest Territory, 1896-1899; Manitou, Man., 1899-1902; Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, 1902-1905; Winnipeg, Man., 1905-1908; Victoria, British Columbia, 1908-1912; Brantford, Ontario, 1912-1915; Westmount, Quebec, 1915-1920; Ottawa, 1920-1925; Linsday, Ont., 1925-1933; New Liskeard, Ont. 1937-1939. Much of his writing, both prose and verse, appeared in the daily newspapers of cities where he ministered.
