Dunham grad­u­at­ed from the North­east Con­ser­va­to­ry of Mu­sic (1873) and the Bos­ton Un­i­ver­si­ty Coll­ege of Mu­sic (1875). He wrote 4 or­gan so­na­tas, a sym­phon­ic po­em, 2 books of 12 church piec­es each, and Au­ro­ra for or­ches­tra and or­gan.
