504. O God, You Are the Father

1 O God, you are the Father
Of all that have believed,
From whom all hosts of people
Have life and power received.
O God, you are the Maker
Of all created things,
The righteous Judge of judges,
Th'almighty King of kings.

2 High in the heavenly Zion
You reign, our God adored;
And in the coming glory
You shall be sovereign Lord;
Beyond our knowledge shining,
The everlasting light;
Ineffable in loving,
Unthinkable in might.

3 You to the meek and lowly
Your secrets do unfold;
O God, who can do all things,
All things good, new and old.
We walk secure and blessed
In every clime or coast,
In name of God the Father,
And Son, and Holy Ghost.

Amen.
