15. When Jesus Smiles On Me

1 My soul was darkened in the night of sin,
I would not let God’s precious love-light in,
My Savior sought me and my heart did win,
And Jesus now smiles on me.

2 My path leads often into darkest ways,
My feet oft wander in a hopeless maze,

3 When Death shall call me at his side to go
And leads me where the chilling waters flow,
E’en there my heart the richest joy shall know,
