1 Suff’ring for years,
Filled with many fears,
Once a woman to the Savior came;
Wondrous healing pow’r
Felt that very hour,
When in faith she touched his garment’s hem.

Jesus has healed me,

Tho’ I suffered much,
By his healing touch
I now am restored to health again.

2 Down by the pool
Of Bethesda cool,
Waited there a man infirm of yore;
Jesus to him said,
“Rise, take up thy bed,
Go thy way in peace, and sin no more.” [Refrain]

3 Banished from home,
See the leper come
To the Savior, seeking for release;
Spake he gently then
To the man unclean,
“Lo, thy faith hath saved thee; go in peace.” [Refrain]

4 At evening came
Blind and halt and lame,
Gathering to Jesus at the door;
See the Blessed Son
Healing ev’ry one,—
All of those who came he die restore. [Refrain]
