O bless the Lord, my soul,
let all within me join
and aid my tongue to bless his name,
whose favors are divine.
O bless the Lord, my soul,
nor let his mercies be
forgotten in unthankfulness,
unsung by you, by me.

Lord, you forgive our sins,
and you relieve our pain,
you heal us of our sicknesses,
and make us whole again.
You crown each life with love,
you ransom from the grave,
and you redeem the soul from sin
with sovereign power to save.

You fill the poor with good;
you give the sufferers rest;
you send your judgments of the proud,
and justice for th' oppressed.
You showed your works and ways,
and Moses made them known;
you sent the world your truth and grace
by your beloved Son.
