Text: | Psalm 36 |
Paraphraser: | Henry Francis Lyte |
Tune: | TUNBRIDGE CHAPEL |
Arranger: | Chris Fenner |
1. Your mercy, Lord, the sinner's hope,
The highest orb of Heaven transcends;
Your sacred truth's unmeasured scope
Through all eternity extends.
2. Your justice, like the hills, remains,
Unfathomed depths you judgments are;
Your providence the world sustains;
The whole creation is your care.
3. The saints shall to your courts be led
To banquet on your love’s repast
And drink as from a fountain head
Of joys that shall forever last.
4. The streams of life with you abound;
Your presence is eternal day.
O show’r your gifts the world around;
Your glorious light to all display!
