1 O God, the Father! draw Thou nigh,
And leave us sinners not to die;
Our num'rous trespasses forgive,
Preserve our faith and let us live;
Deliver our faith and let us live;
Deliver us from Satan's arts,
And make us thine with all our hearts:
Amen! Amen! so shall it be,
And hallelujahs rise to Thee.

2 O God, the Son! do Thou draw night,
And leave us sinners not to die;
