LXXX. O that the Lord would guide our ways

1 O that the Lord would guide our ways
To keep his statutes still!
O that the Lord would grant us grace
To know and do his will!

2 Since we are strangers here below,
Let not thy path be hid;
But mark the road our feet should go,
And be our constant guide.

3 Order our footsteps by thy word,
And make our hearts sincere;
Let sin have no dominion, Lord,
But keep our conscience clear.

4 Make us to walk in wisdom's way,
'Tis a delightful road;
It leads to realms of endless day,
It leads to thine abode.
