CCCXX | Church Hymn Book#CCCXXI | CCCXXII |
1 Let thanks and praises be to God,
For what we have enjoy'd,
His blessings were on us bestow'd,
Whilst we were thus employ'd.
2 In couns'ling on the needful plan,
To build his church below,
And shew the will of God to man,
As faithful teachers do.
3 We praise the Lord who gave us grace,
To call on him for aid;
His presence rested on this place,
For which we humbly pray'd.
4 We trust we labour'd not in vain,
In all that we have done,
'Twas to instruct our fellow-men,
And make the Saviour known.
