1 Shadows never darken heaven,
Endless day shall banish night;
Darkness ne'er can cross its portals,
For the Lamb shall be the light.

Refrain:
There shall be no night in heaven,
There shall be no darkness there;
Glory, glory, be to Jesus
For his sunshine ev'rywhere.

2 In that land of golden sunlight,
We shall meet those gone before,
And shall join in that glad chorus,
Praising God for evermore. [Refrain]

3 Neither pain nor death nor sorrow
E'er shall reach that land on high,
And the ransomed shall be gathered
To that home beyond the sky. [Refrain]
