52. My Savior is Abiding

1 My Savior is abiding, abiding in my heart,
And from His blessed presence the shades of sin depart;
His strength within will conquer the tempter and hi pow'r
His grace will be my comfort in sorrow's trying hour.

O sing the love of Jesus,
Loud let His praises roll,
The precious "Hope of Glory,\"
He dwells within my soul.

2 My Savior is abiding, abiding in my heart,
Since by His grace He won me, to choose the better part;
He gives me fresh anointing, new measures of His pow'r,
He brings to me His Spirit, the fulness of His pow'r. [Chorus]

3 My Savior is abiding, abiding in my heart,
He comes to me with blessing, He never will depart;
He'll cleanse and use the vessel surrendered to His love,
And make it meet to enter the palace-halls above. [Chorus]
