1 Just beyond the River Jordan there’s a land so bright and fair,
Where the wicked cannot enter, for the Lord is master there;
Not a breath of woe or sorrow thro’ that golden city blows;
For there’s naught but joy and gladness where the Jordan flows.

3 Weary sinners, raise your voices, let your glad hosanna’s ring,
Turn your eyes, with love-light beaming, to the palace of the King,
Where He’s made us many mansions, far away from earthly foes,
