1 Onward, little soldiers,
Thro’ the strife and din;
Working for the Master,
Overcoming sin.

Onward, little soldiers, brave,
Singing as you forward go;
With the love of Jesus,
Keep your hearts aglow;
Never fear nor falter,
Bravely forward, forward press,
You shall gain at last,
A crown of righteousness.

2 Little Christian soldiers,
Much for God can do;
