The Church was written by Wayne Walters and published in 1967 by Crusader Publishing Company probably as sheet music. The same year the copyright was transferred to Heart Warming Music (a division of the John T. Benson Publishing Company). You can find it in the 1970 book Heart Warming Songs Number 4, and it may be in New Songs of Inspiration Volume 8 or 9.

Thanks for the interesting anecdote. I don't know of solid evidence, but your guess seems to me not only plausible but likely.

It sounds like the MIDI file and recording might be limited due to copyright issues or restrictions on the music. Sometimes, only a portion of a song can be shared or accessed for licensing reasons. Have you checked if there are full versions available elsewhere?

The authority ids do not accept special characters. Use the similar looking standard character, not a combination of characters; so for ä or å use a, for o̊ use o, etc.

We have changed the way we handle multiple languages. The hymn should be connected to the original language authority. The translated (non original language) first line should be noted in the text authority (notes field), especially if it does not exist by itself (that is, if the hymn in our database always includes both languages). If the translated hymn exists in our database without the original language text, it can be linked in the text authority notes field.
