Hymnal: The Faith We Sing by UMC - #2002: I Will Call Upon the Lord

Anyone have any knowledge of how the hymnal, The Faith We Sing, was put together? 

Any idea as to the selection and order of various hymns and praise choruses?

For #2002: I Will Call Upon the Lord - I love this praise chorus.  And of all praise choruses in The Faith We Sing, why was this one put towards the beginning?

I have no knowledge of how it was put together, but I know it's a United Methodist publication, so someone in the music end of the UMC may know. Dean McIntyre might be a person to approach with the question.
