Eliza Flower, 1803-1846. Eliza Flower was born in Cambridge and grew up in Harlow (England). She was the sister of Sarah Flower Adams. She worked at South Place Unitarian Chapel, London and was considered to be one of the greatest female composers. She was a prolific composer of hymns, protest songs, songs for the seasons, and settings of contemporary writers.
