Lyman Brackett
Brackett was born on September 30, 1852 in Charlestown, Massachusetts. He worked for a while for the Oliver Ditson Company, and later taught in Chickering Hall in Boston. He was the music editor of the first Christian Science Hymnal in 1892, contributing 99 tunes. He died on May 8, 1937 in Roslindale, Massachusetts.
